For approximately thirteen years, Brother Piper prayerfully and conscientiously prepared for
God’s calling in his life—to be an evangelist preaching truly Biblical revival through a complete return to the “Old Paths” of God’s Holy Book. During the last six years of this
preparation, Dwayne enjoyed the reverent, God-fearing, zealous, and powerful Bible preaching of Gulf Coast Bible Institute’s (GCBI’s) coursework. Up until 2003, he was a full-time GCBI student--full-time wholly because of his own uniquely rigid standards for intensity and depth of study all as unto the Lord. For years before, in accordance with “the time appointed of the father” in Galatians 4:1-2, Brother Piper resided contentedly at home with his parents up until July 2003, as reflecting the loyalty he one day prayerfully intended to transfer wholly to his Heavenly Father’s service. During that time, he prayerfully labored in the writing of two books dealing with revival, and is currently in the beginning stages of writing two more works, the last of which deals with the
Biblical principles of raising children in a Christian home. This last topic may indeed prove to be one of the more direly needed topics of all for today’s troubled times, and he prayerfully
and excitedly anticipates the day when God will allow him to finish this last volume!
In April of 2004, Brother Piper happily married the most lovely, virtuous young lady alive--Kristen! Since then, he has been prayerfully taking the first
steps of faith into full-time ministry as a church-planting revivalist. Indeed, he is starting an Independent, Fundamental Baptist work, Revival
Baptist Church. As God reminds you, please pray that, through every aspect and nuance of this servant of God’s life and ministry, “…the word of the Lord may have
free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you….” (2 Thes.3:1) Above everything else, Brother Piper prays that he will be found faithfully and fruitfully abiding in Christ at His
glorious return!

“…By diligent meditation and the giving up of our whole mind to our work for the Lord, we shall make a progress which all can see. Not by hasty reading, but by
deep meditation, we profit by the Word of God. Not by doing a great deal of work in a slovenly manner, but by giving our best thought to what we attempt, we shall get real profit. ‘In all labor there
is profit,’ but not in fuss and hurry without true heart-energy.”
